We feel proud to cherish the legacy of Sheth Gopalji Hemraj High School & Jr. College of Commerce & Science conducted by The Borivali Education Society.
It is the first Aided School established in West Zone of Mumbai city when Britishers were ruling our Bharat in year 1933 and our identity was THE BORIVLI ANGLO VERNACULAR SCHOOL (From 1933 to 1945) & gradually we flourished with THE GOPALJI HEMRAJ HIGH SCHOOL (1945- 1946) & now we have set a benchmark with SHETH GOPALJI HEMRAJ HIGH SCHOOL & JUNIOR COLLEGE OF COMMERCE AND SCIENCE. (1971-Till Date).
Our beloved President of The Borivali Education Society Shri. Vinubhai Valia Sir who is been designated on this reputed post since 1985. He has a strong belief, “If there is one thing that can change the world, it is education and schools are the pillars of formal education.” Along with providing formal education to your wards, this school aspires more; we believe in experiential learning, where a child learns through experiences and participation so that the lesson always stays with him/her.

Involve me and I learn.”He understands that the school education is to provide every child with a stable academic platform but we aim to go beyond this and consider education holistically.
